Sambaco supports children’s projects
Sambaco has been supporting various projects for street children in Brazil since the festival began. Many children in Brazil live on the streets because their parents simply abandon them because of poverty, because they come into contact with drugs, because begging is often the only “way of earning money”. The state lacks the resources for a social network that could support these children. Only through private donations can some children be given better living conditions, the opportunity to attend school and receive vocational training. Our sponsored projects support these children in line with the motto “help for self-help”.
You can help too!
When you buy the program booklet, 1 euro per booklet goes to the children’s projects. If you would like to donate yourself: Information and contacts can be found on the pages for the individual aid projects.
